5 Eco-Friendly Stocking Stuffers

Posted on December 8, 2016

Merry shopping season! Believe it or not, it actually is that time of year. But don’t stress! Let me help you find the perfect gifts with some of my favorite, eco-friendly stocking stuffers.

  • Hand Held Vegetable Spiralizer:
I’m ready to make zucchini noodles, are you? Eating more veggies and less meat is good for your body and the planet! This little gadget gets great ratings and is only about 10 bucks!
  • Frey Organic Natural Red Wine:
Free from synthetic pesticides and added sulfites, Frey is hands down the best affordable organic wine out there. I begged my local market to carry their organic Natural Red because it is so good, and only about $10.
  • Bamboo Toothbrush:
Too many toothbrushes end up living forever in a land fill! These biodegradable brushes are made with sustainably sourced bamboo, and you can recycle the bristles.
  • Reusable Tote:
Plastic bags are a no-no in California, but no matter where you live, you should encourage using reusable bags! Local natural and organic food stores usually have cute ones they sell for a few dollars that make great stocking stuffers. My favorite reusable bag says, “I used to be a plastic bottle” on the front.
  • Green Toys:
If you have little ones to shop for, Green Toys makes playthings that are as cute as a button from 100% recycled plastic, cardboard and soy ink.
